Jessica is a single mom who is very motivated to take good care of her son and provide the best life possible for him. She applied for Project Self Sufficiency and through her partnership with that agency received her high school diploma and graduated from the Dental Assisting Program. Her goal was and is to be off of any kind of assistance and when she moves into her Habitat home, she will achieve that goal by moving out of Section 8 housing. Then, Jessica will be completely self sufficient. “I couldn’t be happier. I have a great job and soon will have a great new home.” Jessica is so excited to live in a community with other Habitat homeowners, where all the kids can play together. She looks forward to having a permanent home, where she and her son can get a dog and plant flowers. “I am so grateful for the opportunity Habitat is giving to me!”
Jessica’s home is being built by the “Thrivent Builds” partnership between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the Lutheran church community and Loveland Habitat for Humanity.
